A different
path to
healing
trauma
Where sound healing, somatic wisdom, and Celtic shamanic practice meet
Sessions are available online &
in person, so this work is accessible wherever you are
Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken.
It’s about coming home to yourself.
As a woman who has experienced multiple traumas and is walking the path of rediscovery, I know how it feels to be disconnected from your body, your voice, and your power.
My work is about guiding you back to wholeness, using a blend of sound, Celtic Shamanism, somatic practices, and deep inner work to help you heal, reclaim your truth, and step into your fullest self.
Hello, I am Ruth…
I'm a Celtic shamanic practitioner and sound therapist.
My work is rooted in Irish ancestral tradition, and I bring that lineage into every session alongside sound and somatic practice..
Ans this short video shares a bit about my own journey and how I could support yours. Press play to meet me!
We often talk about
the body holding trauma.
But let’s also remember:
it holds medicine.
Your nervous system is wired
for resilience.
Your breath knows
how to steady you.
Sound, movement,
and stillness are
its language.
My work is about
helping you access
that innate wisdom,
so healing feels less
like ‘fixing’ and more
like remembering.
The drum and the journey
The drum is one of the oldest instruments there is. Its beat is the heartbeat, the first sound any of us ever knew. When I drum for you, the rhythm becomes a road, and it carries you inward, past the thinking mind, into the deeper places where the real work waits.
This is shamanic work. The sound opens the way, the drum holds you steady, and together we travel to meet whatever your body and spirit are ready to show you. Sometimes that is grief asking to move. Sometimes it is a part of you that went quiet long ago.
From the protection of the drum we move where you are called to go.
Here there is room to lay down what your body has carried for so long. Room for your voice to soften and return to its own true sound. The parts of you that went quiet, that learned long ago to hide, are welcomed gently home. And your loving healthy ancestors can be invited to stand beside you in their wisdom and strength.
The drum is the road. Each turn of it opens another doorway home.
As women, we carry so much
- often silently.
The weight of past wounds, societal expectations,
and the belief that we need to be everything for everyone.
But here's the truth: you don't have to carry it alone.
Feels ‘stuck in your head’ despite years of talk therapy
Longs to reconnect with your body without overwhelm
Wants a guide who is walking the path herself and who honours
both science and subtle wisdomIs ready to explore healing that feels like remembering, not fixing.
This is for you if you’re a woman who…
Online sessions
Women often tell me they weren't sure this kind of deep work could really happen through a screen. Then they experience it.
The session travels beautifully online. Clients describe feeling genuinely held, the sound weaving through their nervous system, the space to unravel what is really going on under the surface, arriving at the end lighter than they have felt in weeks. The anxiety and stress they have been carrying begins to dissipate. Their mind settles. They feel more present in their body and in their daily life.
This is the same work, the same depth, the same instruments, the same quality of presence, available to you wherever you are.
All you need is a quiet space, somewhere comfortable to lie down or settle in, and headphones.
Before your session I will send simple preparation guidance so you arrive ready to receive.
