Evening of sound, art, fire and feasting

  • Llwyna Farm Chepstow, Wales, NP16 6QZ United Kingdom (map)

Join us for an enchanting evening at the farm of Miranda, an equine facilitated psychotherapist, and her partner, blacksmith Mark Lumley.

A grounding sound journey

I will be guiding you through a sound bath using Mark's extraordinary singing bowls - each one carefully forged and tuned to create soothing vibrations. Brodie, Miranda's wise equine companion, will guide our group to the quarry, standing as guardian at its threshold, while the rest of the herd holds space in the nearby hay field. The natural amphitheater of the quarry creates the perfect setting for this immersive sound experience.

The magic of Mark's bowls

Mark Lumley's singing bowls are remarkable works of art, each one individually crafted through his blacksmithing process. The bowls sing with deep, rich tones that fill the space with mesmerising sound and vibration, creating an experience that connects us deeply to the present moment.

Your evening with us

Begin your experience with a grounding walk on the land with Miranda and her herd, followed by Brodie's guidance to the quarry where the sound journey will unfold. You'll experience the unique vibrations of Mark's hand-forged singing bowls, with an opportunity to play them yourself. The evening concludes with an intimate fireside supper shared with fellow participants and the artist, accompanied by warming drinks and thoughtful conversation. Throughout the evening, you'll have the chance to view Mark's sculptural works.
